POLOKWANE – The Aces Cricket Club will host their golf day on September 30. The fundraiser is aimed to raise money for the club to upgrade their cricket nets.

The entry fee for a four-ball is R2 000 and includes a snack basket for each player after the 18 holes.

Sponsors are still required for the day:

• Club house: R5 000 plus four prizes of equal value.

• Holes 1, 9, 10 and 18: R3 000 plus four prizes of equal value.

• Rest of the holes: R 2000 plus four prizes of equal value.

To make the day fun and memorable, the day will be played in a shotgun start format, where all of the teams will start at the same time at a different hole.

Another addition is ‘Mulligans’ where you buy tickets for a R100, which can be used should you need to get out of a sticky situation on the golf course.

After everybody has played their 18 holes, a shoot-out competition will take place at R100 each. The best dressed team will also win a prize.
