Generous donations as EH Hassim opens store in Lebowakgomo

As part of the grand opening of their store in Lebowakgomo, EH Hassim staff decided to give back to the community with a generous donation to Judy’s Paradise; a non-profit organisation assisting people with Cerebral Palsy.
EH Hassim Lebowakgomo donated three pallets of tile cement, three pallets of tiles, glass to complete their workshop, as well as a bath and two toilets. Materials required to complete the play area for the residents were also donated.
The facility houses 50 people ranging from the age of six months to 50 years. With Covid-19, most of the residents have gone back to their homes, but the facility is expecting them back in the new year. Most of the residents are wheelchair-bound and the uneven and unfinished floor pose many challenges.
Completing the building by tiling was, therefore, a necessity.
Ayesha Karani, Store Manager of EH Hassim Lebwakgomo, said she was filled with pride to be part of an initiative supporting such a cause.
