Here is Review’s rundown of what to stream on Showmax and Netflix this week.

POLOKWANE – Streaming services such as Showmax and Netflix have made it possible to watch your favourite series or movies on demand, whenever you want to.

This however makes it even more difficult to decide between the magnitude of options available – that’s where we come in.

Review has put together a list of shows you should stream on your favourite platform.

What to Watch this week on:

Showmax:

Series: Years and Years Season 1

Years And Years is a six-part drama which follows the lives of a single family, the Lyons, over fifteen years in a Britain rocked by unstable political, economic and technological change.

Movie: Blindspotting

Daveed Diggs (Hamilton) stars as convicted felon Collin Hoskins, who is just three days from completing his probation. Then Collin witnesses a white police officer gun down a black civilian on the streets of his home turf in Oakland, California, and feels his carefully controlled reality begin to slide out from under him.

For the kids: The Adventures of Supermama

A hilarious South African family about Doris Ratabane (Nomsa Buthelezi) who has had enough of crime…and the empty promises of the Police Commissioner. Then she meets a mysterious Kung Fu master, and decides to take matters into her own hands, causing all sorts of problems for those around her.

Netflix:

Series: Evil Season 1

Psychologist Kristen Bouchard reluctantly works together with David Acosta, a priest in training, to investigate and find a logical explanation for every supernatural occurrence within the Church.

Movie: Moneyball 

Billy Beane joins forces with Peter Brand, a Yale graduate, to challenge the old-school selection methods and reinvent his team using a sabermetric model that has never been used before.

For the kids: Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts Season 3

Kipo, a sheltered girl, gets a crash course in survival when a mutant attack sends her to the surface, far from the safety of her underground home.
