Here is Review's rundown of what to stream on Showmax and Netflix this week.

POLOKWANE – Streaming services such as Showmax and Netflix have made it possible to watch your favourite series or movies on demand, whenever you want to.

This however makes it even more difficult to decide between the magnitude of options available – that’s where we come in.

Review has put together a list of shows you should stream on your favourite platform.

What to Watch this week on: 

Showmax:

Series: Britannia season 1 and 2.

In A.D. 43, General Aulus Plautius, who is determined to succeed where Julius Caesar failed, leads Britain to invade and conquer this mythical land on the very end of the Roman Empire.

Movie: Fighting With My Family. 

Paige is born into a tight-knit wrestling family. Paige must leave her loved ones behind when she gets a chance to be part of a training programme for WWE.

For the kids: Wonder Park.

The imagination of a wildly creative girl named June comes alive in this movie, where she meets all the creatures she thought lived in her head.

Netflix:

Series: The Baby-Sitters Club.

The series follows the friendship and adventures of five middle-schoolers as they start a babysitting business. This is the reboot version of the 1990 HBO series and based on the children’s novel series by Ann M. Martin.

Movie: Anne Frank – Parallel Stories (2019).

Helen Mirren retraces Anne Frank’s life through the pages of her diary, and through the lives of five young girls who escaped the Holocaust.

For the kids: Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax.

Ted is a 12-year-old boy who is on a search for the long-extinct Truffula tree.
