From church singer to vocalist

She hopes to take the music industry by storm

POLOKWANE – Vocalist, Sindile ‘Cindysoul’ Nhlanzana believes that she heals broken hearts through her music.

Discovering her skills as a vocalist came at the tender age of 12, after Sindile joined a worship team at her church in Seshego Zone 8.

She told BONUS that she was influenced by her siblings, who also enjoy music and they then became her mentors.

Sindile joined a live band in 2017 to try and develop her skills and after her first single, she became popular in Seshego and Lebowakgomo. In 2018, she met Duma Mnqobi at an event in Lebowakgomo where he advised her to focus on her skills.

“With the words of encouragements that I got from Mnqobi, I dove deeper into becoming the best vocalist,” she said.

Sindile is currently studying Business Administration at the Richfield Institution of Graduates and is a part-time fashion model. She advises struggling vocalists to be patient and not be discouraged.

“Sleep is for the rich. It’s not meant to be an easy road but patience gives birth to success,” is her mantra.

“I would like to be featured by popular vocalists so I can be known in the industry. I want my music to be out there,” she said.
