POLOKWANE – All women are exceptional in one way or the other and every woman has a phenomenal story to share.
Founders of the Phenomenal Woman Awards (PWA) 2020, Sally Sithole, Zodwa Mdingi and Larry Matlala, believe phenomenal women lead by example and ignore the naysayers and take the road less traveled. “They are the role models and the everyday heros that make an impact in our local, national and global community,” explains Sally.
On Sunday, 9 August, the inaugural Phenomenal Woman Awards (PWA) 2020 will recognise women and honour them for being those everyday heroes.
PWA has grown organically from 200 guests with one award to a Provincial Awards Program (PAP) with multiple diverse award categories, that are celebrated by the whole province and the nationally.
Sally tells Review that Limpopo Women in Business (LWB) is Limpopo’s first and fastest-growing women’s network that continues to attract attention and support of government officials, various associations, industry a-lister’s and has featured the stories of inspirational speakers such as HrH Princess Kekana, Premier Chupu Mathabatha, Kathrine ‘The BitCoin Queen,’ Barb Stegemann, Rachel Mielke.
PWA 2020 will raise the profiles of over 500 women in the province and award 150 phenomenal woman at the awards. “These women are role models who pave the road for others to follow in their footsteps and use their voices to make change locally, nationally and globally. They are our catalysts for change and inspire us all to dream big,” she said.
