Jack Rams has the drive to get emerging artists noticed

Founder of Mega Artists Media (MAM), Jack Rams offers a platform where talented emerging artists from Limpopo can get discovered.

POLOKWANE – Jack Rams is an experienced radio broadcaster, writer and author with a demonstrated history of working in public relations, media and entertainment industry.

Jack completed matriculated at a local school and furthered his studies at the University of Limpopo (UL) where he completed a B.A degree in media. He completed his National Certificate in radio production with Revolution Media Academy in 2018.

Jack is also the producer of Energy FM’s popular Ashifa Breakfast Show, a former presenter at Radio Turf and former chairperson and marketing officer at UL English Society. Aside from radio and his media company, Jack is skilled in customer relationship management, event management, journalism, radio broadcasting and art exhibition direction.

He founded Mega Artists Media, a non-governmental organisation (NGO), in 2014 in the hopes of giving local performers, artists, poets a platform to shine and showcase their talents on large organised exhibition platform.

Jack says Mam is dedicated to making local art accessible to a diverse audience. “We encourage emerging artist to express and experiment with their works. We as Mam support all creative discipline for community enrichment and development,” he added.

“I felt there was a need to give local artists a platform where they can be spotted by other production agencies which can offer them better opportunities, so that they can go out there and represent Limpopo. Hence why we try our best to host shows monthly if not annually, giving artists a platform to broadcast and showcase their talents,” he added.
