Seshego rap group nominated for SEMA – get voting
Rap group SSG Entertainment believes their nomination solidifies their stance as a group to be reckoned with
POLOKWANE -Rap group SSG Entertainment has been nominated for the Best kwaito song in the Sepedi Music Awards (SEMA). The group were nominated for their hit song, ‘Ko dipleke’.

The rap trio, comprised of Pius ‘DollaMan’ Chauke, Lebo ‘Dommino’ Kgofelo and Tumelo ‘Genesis’ Mashabela burst onto the music scene with their mixtape ‘G.O.D.D’ in 2018. The group was also nominated for the Limpopo Music Awards 2018 and despite not taking home the award, they did not lose hope.
The group from Seshego has grown beyond expectations and they say that their nomination for the SEMA solidifies their stance as a group to be reckoned with. They recently released an EP titled ‘Zone 1’, and suited to it’s name the EP tells stories about the township and incorporates vernacular rap.

The EP is their fifth project and it is a fusion of hip hop, kwaito, trap and dance/house, blended together for the distinguished sound. It is dedicated to all the hard working kasi kings and queens who tirelessly to better their family’s lives and still find little time to relax and have a bit of fun.
