POLOKWANE – New on the block with a bubbly personality is Energy FM’s hostess of two weekend shows, The Blast and Energy Rush. Mary Molope opens up to her listeners as they would like to know more about her.
• How old are you and are you involved in a relationship? – Tshepo from Seshego, zone 5.
– Hi Tshepo, a girl never really reveals her age but for the sake of my listeners, I am 29, and yes, I am happily in a relationship. He treats me like a queen.
• What is your favourite show on Energy FM and who is your favourite presenter? – Lesiba from Mokopane.
– That is a tough one. I love all the shows on Energy FM because they all have their unique vibe and taste going on.
• What kind of movies do you enjoy to watch? – Lethabo Moroka from Seshego, zone 2.
– I love romantic comedy, thriller and action. I enjoy any kind of movie, as long as it makes me laugh or has some life relevance to it.
• Why did you choose radio? – Jerry from extension 44.
– I chose radio because I love to spread the word out there to my listeners. It has been my passion from a young age as I am a very sociable person.
• What do you love about being a twin, and do you do everything together? – Solly Moatshe from Ga-Molepo.
– Being an identical twin is so much fun because my twin sister and I have so many things in common, especially because it is like getting your best friend from birth and growing up with her. As strange as it may sound, twins think alike in almost everything. Many get excited when they meet other sets of twins out there and will often share twin stories back and forth, like we always do. I would say it is a blessing being a twin.
• Would you rather go a day without your phone or a day without bathing and why? – Thapelo from the University of Limpopo.
– As much as I love my phone, I would rather sacrifice a day without it because I cannot imagine going a day without taking a long hot bath or shower. Before bedtime,it helps me to relax and it is a hygienic thing to do.
• From the shows you present, which one do you enjoy the most? – Dikeledi Mothapo from Mentz.
– I love all my shows because they all have a different feel, depending on the days they are hosted. They are all relevant to be played during the weekend, so I love and enjoy all of them.
