Kwenisto is back where he belongs, on radio

Better known as the minister of young people, former Thobela FM presenter, Kwenisto Makgakga has moved to the radio industry.

POLOKWANE -Makgakga is the co-founder of MotionSense HD, a web radio station operating from Polokwane CBD. Makgakga told BONUS that for someone to grow, life challenges are needed.

“We need challenges to grow as there is no growth in comfort zones,” he said. “Radio is my life and it completes me,” he said. He said he believes the challenges he encountered served as wake-up call for him.

“I am happy with whatever happened to me because I believe it happened for a reason,” he said. He said: “I think my part and role where I was before was over, however I was not aware of that.”

“I accepted all the challenges as a way of growing because with continuous change comes some valuable lessons,” he said. Makgakga said it is unfortunate that some people plot against those who are doing good. He said they are looking forward to have a frequency, but for now they are streaming live.

He said the station operates from 06:00 to 18:00 however they are working towards airing 24 hours.”We have recently absorbed over 20 young talented presenters for different shows. We are looking forward to groom and give them the necessary skills they need,” he added. He says the future is bright for the youth, they just need to work hard and take the opportunities they receive. “The listeners growth shows that people are still here and want to hear what I still have to offer the industry,” he said.
