LIMPOPO – Author, Tshauambea Ramukumba from Dzingahe is making moves in the pageantry world.
The 24-year-old made this evident in a recent pageant, Miss Phenomenal SA 2019.
In fact, the pageant’s title actually describes Tshau very well. She is a phenomenal woman whose literary output has set her up on a social pedestal after the release of her debut book, Shades of Shock.
“I want to leave my footprint on the universe’s fabric as I do not want to walk out this universe without leaving an indelible mark of motivation, inspiration and achievement,” she said.
She got to know about Miss Phenomenal SA via social media platforms and decided to visit their website for more information, which encouraged her to enter the pageant. “I entered the pageant because of their catchy line which spoke about a phenomenal woman because this very woman was me. I am a phenomenal woman who treasures my thoughts and ideas very much. I believe in my capabilities and abilities to do better than yesterday. I have dreams and morals.”
She attended the pageant’s auditions in Pretoria where she managed to make it through to the semi-finals.
“I managed to reach the final stage and my eye is now on the crown. We do charity work within different communities as part of the pageant and I enjoy this because I have been involved in community work from early on in my life.”
She had a message for her peers: “Follow your dreams. Have a purpose. It is within you and it is your job to vent it out. There is no greater time than now to begin to do it.”
