Polokwane Pensioners Association, businesses, individuals and Siloe School for the Blind staff reached out to visually impaired learners at the institution by donating 110 blankets as part of International Mandela Day activities last Thursday.
Principal Ramasela Lebelo indicated that there was a shortage of blankets at the school hostel that is why they requested a donation from companies and individuals. She further said the blankets would come in handy during the winter season. Lebelo thanked everyone who reached out to the school and concluded by saying the learners would now sleep warmly at night.
