Members of the Polokwane Society of Advocates also known as the Polokwane Bar extended a helping hand to learners at Ernest Matlou Primary School in Blood River by delivering a donation of school shoes, sanitary towels, toothpaste and bath soap to the school on Friday.
According to Assistant Honorary Secretary of the Polokwane Bar, Maria Malatji, they donated 53 pairs of shoes, 24 tubes of toothpaste, 36 bars of bath soap and 147 packs of sanitary towels. She stated that it was humbling and fulfilling to see the smiles on learners’ little faces. This was a way of contributing to the needy in the community as advocates from Polokwane Bar during the Mandela month, Malatji explained.
