Timothy Potego Mootane(22), the founder of TMF told Review that this event was the first successful youth engagement event hosted by the foundation apart from the various charity events that we have hosted within our community.

Timothy himself is a male model and aspires to play his part in helping to contribute towards making life bearable in his community. “The fashion show was meant to reach out to the youth and encourage them to engage in activities that will contribute towards positive personal growth,” he explained.

He says, opportunities for growth and success are scarce to the youth coming from remote and rural areas, so where he can he tries to engage his peers to share ideas and information that inspire or help one another.

“Our mission is to show people that even in rural communities we have talent and we are working just as hard to be recognised across our province.”

Local designers such as Zee Designer’s, Fabric Doc, Sepetlele’s collections and D clearnth collections were featured on the day.
