“It is crucial that we become creative in our work, so we can attract and entertain our fans even more. This was a surprise to our fans and the country. Our aim was to move away from shooting at obvious places such as clubs, pubs and taverns with half naked vixens and champagne. We wanted to emphasise the message of the song,” he said.

Slumkidd said: “This is something I always wanted to achieve. It was a pity, because I never got a perfect song to shoot this kind of video for.”

He said he is grateful for the collaboration with Mopedy. “If I was asked to do it again, I will definitely do it.”

The music video was directed by Slumkidd along with Makobane General Gubz Mogashoa.
