The National Council of & for Persons with Disabilities (NCPD) is already planning for the 2019 Casual Day initiative that will culminate on 6 September and supporters are advised to buy their stickers and kit now to avoid disappointment.
The Association of Persons with Disabilities (APD) Limpopo’s Fundraiser Margaret Malatji said that branded golf shirts, caps and bucket hats are already available in a range of sizes and may be worn on casual day to compliment the specially designed stickers costing R10 each. “Show your sticker, go to work in casual attire on 6 September and make your contribution towards a worthy cause,” Malatji urged. Malatji also added that APD will deliver stickers and kit at bulk buyers in the city at no additional cost.
According to Director of APD Limpopo, Christa van der Walt, Casual Day celebrates 25 years this year and she reckons that it is a great milestone. “Casual Day brought in R28 million last year and this year’s theme is ‘Time to Shine’,” Van der Walt added.
Malatji may be contacted on 015 291 1787.
