Music is T-Man’s forte

Local entertainer and Dj, Thapelo Makalela says he is on a mission to not only keep communities entertained through his music, but also provide recreational activities to the benefit of the social welfare through his non profit organisation, Thapelo Foundation.

LIMPOPO – The 27-year-old from Zebediela (Gedgogte), says he dreams of sharing a stage and ideas on how to grow as a musician with big names such as Black Coffee, Dj Tira, Dj Shimza, Culoe de Song and many other successful djs in South Africa.

Thapelo says he is self taught, using his personal computer and learnt how to work with software to create and produce music. “I started playing around with music software programs when I was 18-years-old and officially started making music in 2015. It was a difficult but worthy challenge,” he explained.

Having acquired the name “Tman” as his nickname, the music fanatic says that music is his forte. He has shared and published some of his produced music on Icloud, Soundcloud, Itunes, Youtube and other social media platforms including Facebook and Twitter. The youngster is set to host an event called Pre-Youth Day Celebration on 15 June, at Ga Ntamaties-Malahleng in Zebediela as well as a fashion show on 26 October 2019.

“I want to continue to inspire as many young people as myself as I was also inspired by some big names in the music industry. As young people we need to have constant motivation and drive that pushes us to always strive to achieve our goals and dreams,” concluded Tman as he is popularly known.
