Mr Gee will get your weekend started, the Party District way

POLOKWANE – The show is presented by Sello Kgatle better known as Mr Gee and focuses on making sure that listeners, who’ve been having a busy week can kick back to some great vibey party music, and share their thoughts of the week.

It also focuses on empowering young and upcoming male and female DJs, by playing their mixes for exposure. Listeners also get the opportunity to know the whereabouts and contact details of their favourite DJs, for bookings and social media interactions with them.

The Party District has four mixes, one every hour. The mixes get thirty minutes airplay at quarter past of each hour. These DJs include DJ BlackSoul, who plays some really cool laid-back old-school kwaito and house music.

In the second hour we turn it up, with a higher tempo mix by either DJ Punch or Kg Wa Kasi. The third hour gets turned up even more with DJ Happie and DJ Sirbones. We turn things down a little in the final hour, with a deep house mix from DJ Fakaza, Mr Gee or DJ Bluetooth.
To sum it up, it’s “Ke Modheho Fela.”
