POLOKWANE – Award-winning gospel singer, Dr Tumi, brings his nationwide Connect Tour to Polokwane on 16 March. Gospel fans can look forward to an intimate night of worship at the Meropa Casino and Entertainment World. Dr Tumi will perform many of the songs that have made him a household name and entrenched him as one of South Africa’s gospel greats.
Standard tickets are selling at R250 and VIP tickets at R350 at Computicket.
Dr Tumi is a qualified medical doctor who was born and raised in Seshego.
The former lead singer of the award-winning gospel group, Intense, Dr Tumi composed the songs for the group’s album Heart2Heart.
He also wrote all of the 16 tracks on his debut album Heart of a King, which won the Best R&B Gospel Award at the SABC Crown Gospel Music Awards in 2012, where he was also nominated in four categories. Dr Tumi’s inspiration for songwriting is derived from fellowship, the Word and experiences in his day- to-day journey with the Lord.
