Calls to participate in Commonwealth pageants

Commonwealth Pageants South Africa is calling aspiring models from all communities in the country to enter their Miss Teen, Mr and Mrs Commonwealth South Africa (SA) 2019.
According to Lauren Landy, administrator at Commonwealth Pageants South Africa to enter for Miss Teen Commonwealth SA hopefuls need to be between the ages of 16 and 18.
“For our Mr Commonwealth SA pageant they need to be between the ages of 20-35 and for Mrs Commonwealth SA they need to be between the ages of 25-50.”
She also stated that Commonwealth SA is about bringing prosperity to the community through their different projects.
“The breast cancer public benefit organisation Pink Drive is the official beneficiary of the Mrs Commonwealth SA pageant and more than R700 000 has been raised for Pink Drive to date. Winners will become ambassadors of the pageant and their primary role will be empowering and inspiring others, contributing actively towards social upliftment and becoming spokespersons on issues people face every day. This is an opportunity for them to empower themselves, represent their community and make a difference in the lives of others.,” Landy said.
The grand finale of the pageants will take place on 16 August 2019 at the Lyric Theatre at Gold Reef City.
