With their garden transformed into a festive scene with colourful decorations and fine music, residents of Our Home in the city were treated to a Christmas party hosted by the Rotary Clubs of Pietersburg 100 and Polokwane last Thursday evening.
The Rotarians prepared chicken and boerewors on outside braais, while the Rotary Anns ensured that there were enough side dishes with a selection of wines.
President of the Rotary Club of Pietersburg 100, Johan Joubert welcomed guests and said that it was an honour to host the annual event. “Our Home is very close to our hearts and we really enjoy the interaction with our senior citizens,” Joubert said before he wished everyone a blessed Festive Season.
Resident Boet van der Walt said that the function was like a good red wine.
“It just gets better every year and we appreciate it so much,” he said.
