POLOKWANE – Food lovers, prepare to indulge in mouthwatering dishes prepared by Lorna Maseko. Lorna is a Top Billing presenter with more than a million viewers weekly, a chef, ballet dancer, choreographer, MC and the Managing Director of Fabulous Production among her many roles.
She is set to host an exclusive lunch where she will also talk about her new ventures which include the release of her cook book next year, as well as upcoming cook along which will be taking place online.
Attendees can look forward to one on one sessions with the food lover, who says that her love for food was sparked when she was on Masterchef SA as a contestant.
“I have always loved cooking and hosting, so being able to do it on my show, The Hostess, Masterchef and Top Chef SA has been amazing. I wish I had an exciting story about my grandmother teaching me something, but sadly not. I find cooking very therapeutic. It’s quite a blessing to be able to do it and share it with other people. I love cooking hearty food such as lamb shank and oxtail.
“Anything that just warms the heart always warms me. Any food that is very rustic, warmly and inviting and have guests sharing food at the table is my favourite. I love it when people share food as they are experiencing it all together,” she explained.
The event will take place on Sunday 28 October, at Mekete Lodge on the N1, 8 km from the Polokwane Airport on the Louis Trichardt road from 14:00. The dress code is smart casual. Tickets are R500 each and are available at Webtickets.
All tickets are VIP and include an exclusive three course meal prepared by Lorna as well as refreshing cocktails and a after party with DJ Shimza and TBO Touch.
