Entries open in the search for the next Queen of the North

The next exciting beauty pageant to be held in Polokwane will be the Queen of the North 2019 Pageant set to take place on 25 November with the theme of Ice Queen.
Presented by Limpopo Beauty Modeling Academy, the Queen of the North 2019 Pageant is set to accept entries in various categories aimed at entrants between the ages of four and 25 years old. According to pageant director, Katryn Celliers, there will be huge prizes worth thousands of rands to win, including cash prizes. Entries close on 24 November and the entry fee is R350 per entrant. Spectators tickets will cost R50 per person.
Celliers further said the pageant is a youth development beauty pageant run according to Miss SA standards. “All entrants will be asked to introduce themselves and answer one on-stage question,” she explained.
Entrants are also requested to bring along a Christmas gift to be donated to a child in need at Gamaboi Drop-in Centre.
Readers will have the opportunity to vote for their favourite in the Public Choice Awards. The public’s favourite in every age group will receive extra points in the final pageant scores, as well as a sash and a gift. This will be an SMS competition which will close on 12 November and the contact number will be published at a later date. The Miss Public Choice overall winner will win a custom-made state-of-the-art tiara display cupboard worth R6 000, the biggest public choice prize in Limpopo beauty history.
