Get voting for public choice favourites

Miss Polokwane Observer Cover Girl fever has hit the city and with it the Public Choice finalists have just been announced.
The final round in the popular annual competition, considered to be the biggest in the province with record votes in last year’s public choice awards, is taking place at Sun Meropa on Sunday, 7 October.
According to pageant director Katryn Celliers 21 winners would be chosen and special awards bestowed this year. With lots of amazing prizes up for grabs, including a cash prize for the overall winner as well as a Vodacom smart phone for the overall Miss Public Choice winner, the only thing still left is for hopeful beauties to enter. Each contestant is expected to receive a gift and certificate on pageant day.
The public choice winner in each age category will score 10 extra points in the final scores on pageant day. To vote for your favourite contestant in each age category, SMS “QUEEN name surname” to 33282, for example “QUEEN Katryn Celliers”. SMSes are charged at R1,50 and standard network rates apply. Voting lines close on 6 October at 18:00.
