Paint Pot celebrates 30 years in business and to mark this milestone they offer great promotions throughout September.
“We want to show our appreciation towards our many clients which supported us over the years and also welcome new business to give us an opportunity to provide them with unsurpassed service, expertise and the best products on the market,” says operational manager, Johan van der Westhuizen and adds that for the next four Saturdays, all clients will be treated to a complimentary boerewors roll.
Starting this month, Paint Pot introduced a loyalty card for its cash customers which offers a 1% discount on all invoice prices. All holders of loyalty cards making purchases during September, may take part in a lucky draw rotating in all four of its branches. “A value of R1 000 is loaded onto the winning cards to be discounted from future purchases,” Van der Westhuizen explains.
To add to the excitement, another lucky draw will be done at all four branches at the end of the month, with a prize of a braai set to the value of
R2 500 for clients buying Prominent Paints products for more than R1 000 per purchase.

Our story begins on 16 September 1988, when the Founders of PAINT POT, Chris and Lana Mulller opened a store in Peace Street, Tzaneen and moved from Polokwane to Tzaneen to manage the store. They started off by selling several different products like gas, paraffin and general hardware with the main product being PAINT. Their passion laid with PAINT having had their own Paint Factory in Polokwane. They knew and believed in quality and value for money.
In 1993 het hulle seun, ANTON MULLER by hulle aangesluit nadat hy sy studies voltooi het. Deur die jare het hulle die PAINT POT-LEUSE, soos deur sy oorlede pa neergelê en uitgeleef, steeds behou: “ONS VERKOOP GOEIE VERF GOEDKOOP, NIE GOEDKOOP VERF NIE”. Ons is trots daarop dat ons, van toeka tot nou, ons steeds toespits op KWALITEIT, WAARDE VIR GELD EN KLIËNTEDIENS.
Gedurende 1995 verskuif PAINT POT TZANEEN na die huidige perseel te Boundarystraat 56. Met die vinnige groei van die besigheid moes daar gedurende 2010 noodgedwonge uitbreidings en aanbouings plaasvind. Die aansig en grootte van die huidige gebou is drasties verander en die winkelvloeroppervlak is tans 900 m².
In 2011 vind verdere veranderings plaas en voeg ons die kunsafdeling by. PAINT POT huisves die kunsafdeling vir ‘n jaar maar groei so geweldig dat dit na Boundarystraat 54, voorheen bekend as Kunsraamwerke, langs PAINT POT TZANEEN, verkuif moes word.
PAINT POT GIYANI was opened in 2003. PAINT POT GIYANI has, over the past 15 years, expanded and literally burst its seams, always staying true to our MOTTO: Best Client Services and Best Quality. Initially we occupied a small shop in Giyani Shopping Centre but with the vast expansion we moved next door to a space double the size.

PAINT POT POLOKWANE gedurende 2015 verskuif na die huidige adres, h/v Nikkel- en Kobaltstraat Superbia, met ‘n vloerspasie van 1 850 m². Die uitbreiding het gelei na meer gespesialiseerde dienste. Ons gesofistikeerde kunsafdeling bied gereelde klasse aan vir oud en jonk.
In 2017 the family business spread its wings and opened the very first PROMINENT PAINTS franchise store in Midrand. The key to the success of the PROMINENT PAINTS MIDRAND branch is excellent customer service.
We focus on paint specification, on-site quotations for houses and townhouse complexes. Excellent colour matching and tinting is our speciality.
