Some 12 congregations in Seshego have embarked on a mission to pray for unity in the community and in all churches by hosting monthly interdenominational services with different topics at various venues.
This month’s service was held on Sunday at World Restoration Church in Hospital View under the theme ‘The unity of the body of Christ’ and delivered by Joseph Mohale, a pastor who focused his teachings on being in the right position for God to provide what he has promised.
One of the organisers, Vorster Mokoka emphasised that the service was intended for churches to pray for unity and reiterated that Christians from over 12 churches attended. Mokoka also addressed congregates on financial matters with the topic ‘Dealing with financial stress as a child of God’.
He encouraged youths and unemployed people to attend church services for God to guide and help them. He further outlined that they host mini prayer sessions weekly and the next interdenominational services is scheduled for 7 October.
