‘King of Kaviki Land’ set to change the rap and hip hop industry in Polokwane

Mash London has been called “the cream of the crop in the Limpopo hip hops fraternity"

POLOKWANE – Mash London, famously known as the ‘King of Kuviki Land’, said his love for music started at a young age but he only realised his full potential in early 1990’s.

“I have always had a love for music in general but it was only around 1995 when I realised that my passion for hip hop and rap music could be turned into a career. After listening to the Notorious B.I.G one time, I remember thinking this guy is the greatest hip hop rap artist and from that day on I vowed to be one of the greatest lyricists Limpopo, Polokwane and hopefully the entire country has ever seen. It was then I started writing and performing my music,”said the Seshego born artist.

He has since been called “the cream of the crop in the Limpopo hip hops fraternity,” and has four projects under his belt which includes two mix tapes titled The Great adventures of Mash London 2016 and Art of storytelling 2016 and two extended plays The Injection 1 2015 and Injection 2 2017.

Mash also the founder of TLM Productions a company focused on music production, PR and branding, added that his music is inspired by the lives of the ordinary people in and around his home town, dubbed ‘Kuviki Land’.

“I honed my rapping skills and technique that speaks of everyday life and the struggles of ordinary people from in and around Kuviki Land and give back to my community by performing live in places like Bochum, Lebowakgomo, Botlokwa, Turfloop, Ga-Mashashane, Polokwane and Seshego to name a few,” he said.

His latest single Too Much Cauce which is set to drop in September 2018 and another extended play plus a tavern tour is all in the plans for the King of Kuvuki land for the second half of 2018.
