[LISTEN] Strive to be a wonderful but unique young woman, says Werner Wessels

Werner Wessels, pageant coach and image consultant to Miss South Africa, was recently invited by Katryn Barwise owner of Limpopo Beauty Modeling Academy to educate the young girls on what it takes to be a Miss South Africa contestant.

POLOKWANE – He advised the young models to have a long term goal but to remember to focus on the now. “Focus on your life, excel at what you do, but don’t be overeager with your plans,” he said. He emphasised that although they model professionally, they should not forget about their education. “Learn to multitask at your passion and school academics and strive to be a wonderful women that has something unique to offer the South African public,” he advised.

Learn to make a difference…

He continued by warning mothers to make sure their daughters know the boundaries when posting on social media.

“Your social media account may be your territory, but we don’t have any control over the media, he warned. “Mothers make sure that your children know their boundaries when posting on social media. Do not post something you are going to regret later,” Werner concluded.
