POLOKWANE – Karabo Mapheto, better known as Q-Scotch the Most Trusted DJ by his fans, is appealing to Limpopo residents to vote for him in the second annual Limpopo Music Awards (Lima) in the best male DJ category.

Born in Seshego Zone 1, Q-Scotch earned the name The Most Trusted DJ with his outstanding mixing skills. He became so famous that the majority of people don’t know his real name and simply refer to him as Q-Scotch.
“I am super excited to be nominated. It means my hard work is being recognised and it will definitely give me courage to work even harder. I’m humbled and thankful for what has been going on in my life and I thank the almighty God who is making it all possible. I know I will win this award with the support of the people of Limpopo,” Mapheto said.
He is competing against artists like Ceephonic, Thabang Banks, Deer and Paul Sesh, but he is sure with the support of his fans, he has a good chance of winning.
“I am excited to finally be nominated in the music awards as it had been one of my dreams to win an award in the music industry to show off my excellence. I thank everyone for their support and votes in advance, as well as for encouraging me since day one. They will not be disappointed,” he said.
