Doek on Fleek heads to city
The Doek on Fleek Lifestyle Movement turns up the heat in Polokwane this winter with an inspiring, all white Women's Month celebration at Meropa Casino this Saturday.
POLOKWANE – The event, styled along the lines of the highly successful Doek on Fleek Market held almost weekly across the country, will showcase the products and services of some of the region’s enterprising female entrepreneurs.
The Doek on Fleek lifestyle concept is founded by black female businesswoman, Thandi Mavata best known as Babes we Doek. It is now well known for bringing women together from all walks of life, all in the spirit of fun, women supporting each other and promoting women entrepreneurship.
Doek on Fleek will take place at Meropa’s Jembe Tavern and in the Jembe Gardens. There will be great music, food, dance, and a buzzing market for your shopping desires.
Tickets are available at Computicket from Shoprite and Checkers at R150 per adult.
The event starts at 10:00.
Women must wear all white but with a colourful doek to suit the theme.
No doek, no entry.
