Artist aspires to greatness

Delpeace is an artist who is changing lives one song at a time.

POLOKWANE – Born Peace Badejo, Delpeace is an educator at Capricorn High School where he revived the choir programme. He recorded his first album, titled Master Plan, in 2015 and did a live DVD recording in 2016. Due to a lack of funds, the DVD is still at the post-production stage but he plans to send it to various TV stations once he has secured the funding to have it released. He plays the saxophone, bass guitar, drums and keyboard. He also imparts his knowledge and skills to others by giving music classes outside of school, helping groom young artists.

Delpeace explains he has big plans for a live concert before the end of the year where he will invite gospel artists to perform. He adds, however, that he can make plans, God is the one to put the final stamp of approval on those plans.

Aside from music, a major part of his life revolves around church and he has a programme which he hosts every last Thursday of the month. It’s called Strategic Worship Encounter and it’s a free monthly worship session where different musicians come together and worship. People come and worship, share their testimonies and spend time in God’s presence.

He invites everyone who would like to get closer to God to join in worship at 92 Schoeman Street, opposite Rostec College. He can be found on all social media platforms as Delpeace Badejo.
