Entries for Face of Fashion now closed

The organisers of Limpopo Face of Fashion 2018 Runway Model Competition together with Mall of the North (MoN) offered aspiring runway models a last opportunity to enter the competition at their stall, which was part of MoN’s Just Imagine Arts & Photo Fair over the weekend.
Entries are now closed and the finalists – 10 young women and 10 young men – will be announced on Saturday.
The final is set to take place at MoN on 1 September, with exciting prizes to be won.
The competition is presented by Ace Models Limpopo and is the first of its kind in the province.
The top male and female winner of the Limpopo Face of Fashion 2018 Runway Model Competition will each walk away with R15 000 cash, an international modeling contract with top modelling agency Ice Model Management and various beauty and clothing prizes valued at some R100 000. There will also be awesome prizes for the top 10 male and female finalists.
Explaining why Ace Models Limpopo decided to start this competition, owner Jacqueline Ferns, said it was because the beauty industry in Limpopo needs more national and international recognition. “Beauty in Limpopo needs a change, it needs something new and it is about time this province hits the big time!” she said.
Sponsors of the competition include MoN, Polokwane Observer, Limpopo Toyota, Loolness and photographer Natalie Loots.
Top international modelling agency, Ice Model Management for which Ace Models Limpopo is an official talent scout, will be part of the judging.
The judges list is studded with celebrities in the modeling industry and will include Steffi Rinaldi, founder and owner of Ice Model Management, Joani Johnson, CEO of Mrs SA and founder of Ace Models, Casper Bosman, celebrity fashion designer as well as surprise celebrity judges whose identity will be announced soon.
