Local biker club Regimental Crew Pietersburg will be hosting an exciting event for young and old to enjoy at the go-kart track on the Silicon road outside Polokwane on the weekend.
Regimental Crew President Jeff de Beer indicated that the purpose of the event is to create biker awareness and to collect donations for local charity organisations. “We are expecting people from across the South Africa and even had confirmation of bikers from Richards Bay who will attend. It is not for bikers only and we invite everyone to visit the event for some pleasurable moments,” De Beer said.
He added that bikers are expected to arrive in the city from tomorrow (Friday) noon with the main event to commence early Saturday morning. “We will also have a biker stuntman in action. He is a daredevil and has represented South Africa on various international platforms. There will also be a variety of stalls and food and drinks will be for sale,” De Beer said.
The event will be concluded on Sunday with a church service at 10:00.
All donations will be distributed among local organisations. Entry fees are R80 per person per day or R120 for the weekend.
Camp sites are also available for those interested. For more information contact De Beer on 060 365 0849 or 082 570 7273.
