Athletes to gear up for Women’s Day Race

Mzansi Athletics Club will be hosting a Women’s Day Race at the Polokwane Cricket Club on 9 August.
“Men are also welcome to join the race and we actually hope that they will come to support female athletes,” Mzansi Chairperson Richard Rambiyana said.
Registrations can be done on the day before the race from 16:00 to 19:00 at the cricket club as well as on the day of the race from 05:00 to 06:45 at the same venue.
Athletes can enter the 21,1 km or 10 km race that are both set to start at 07:00. For the less fit or parents with young children there will be a 5 km fun run starting at 07:15. Entry fees are R100, R60 and R30 respectively and temporary licences for the 21,1 km and 10 km will be available at R30.
