POLOKWANE – “As a model and beauty queen, my personal mission is to empower the young girls/women in Limpopo who aspire to follow careers in the field of fashion and beauty industry. These young girls/women have no experience or knowledge about the industry or the opportunity to grow in this field.”
“The Miss Face of Limpopo 2018 is aimed at giving these girls/women and opportunity to be part of a bigger pageant on a national level. Here they will gain experience and knowledge needed to follow their dreams,” explains beauty queen and aspiring fashion designer.
During the pageant over 45 contestants, aged between 3 to 30, were afforded an opportunity to showcase their talents in an effort to take home the title of Miss Face of Limpopo 2018. Awards included best dressed, best introduction, photogenic,Top model, top 3 in each age category, public choice award and overall top 5 winners. The winner will represent Limpopo at the Miss Heritage South Africa 2018 National beauty pageant later this year, she adds.
Pageant sponsors included Hlatsebell designs, Lady D boutique, Sylvester Masa Motadi, Mabitsela David Ngoetjana, Ntimed signs and projects, Powerup Technology, Purple Heels Entertainment and Mop Map Rib and Block Slab construction.
Lerato will be representing South Africa in Nigeria at the Face of Fashion Africa 2018 on the 6 July and is of need of financial assistance.
“I love travelling an I am very excited to be going abroad. I hope that someone will help me to achieve this dream,” she concluded.
