Representatives of the Rotary Club of
Pietersburg 100 and the Metal of Honour and Ulysses Bosveld Motorcycle Clubs surprised residents of Our Home/Ons Tuiste on Friday when they handed over a cheque for R27 012,20 to the institution.
President of Metal of Honour Motorcycle Club, Ian Saunderson said that the funds were raised during the annual Biker Dayjol and Boeredans during February.
“It was a combined effort between the two motorcycle clubs and the Rotarians and we wish to thank our sponsors for making the event possible. The senior citizens of the city are close to our hearts and it was really a pleasure to interact with them and to show that we care,” Saunderson said.
