Aspiring actors in the province will have an opportunity to audition for parts in two new films to be produced by local company Tlou Tlou Productions.
The production house is scouting for talented actors to be cast for their upcoming ‘It is now or never’ and ‘Hardship’, based on love, marriage and divorce.
Tlou Tlou Productions founder, America Ngwepe said auditions are set for Polokwane on 9 June at Library Gardens.
The auditions will be conducted on first come first serve basis therefore persons from the age of 16 to 60 should avail themselves on the date and bring along their identity documents.
He revealed that ‘It is now or never’ is based on a naive learner from Seshego township who defies his father’s wish that he become an engineer and instead chooses a different career path that causes division and mayhem within the family.
“This is an exciting film, very intense, relevant and current and we are looking for actors who can execute the message very clearly.
We decided to conduct open auditions because there are many aspiring actors in the province who don’t have opportunities to showcase their talent. So this is an opportunity for them,” Ngwepe said.
