Face of Miss Princessa 2018’s career takes off

Having recently won the Face of Princesessa 2018, which was hosted in Greenside, Extension 44, Shonie Vatukula says that winning the title has kick-started her career as a model.

POLOKWANE – “I am a lover of all things beautiful and extravagant. Winning the title of queen at the Face of Miss Princessa 2018 really opened my eyes and motivates me to work even harder at creating a name for myself as a model. I learnt that confidence is key when someone wants to pursue a career or profession as a model or any other career actually,” she explained.

The 15-year-old has many goals and dreams to fulfill, including travelling the world to learn about different cultures, traditions and lifestyles that people have.

She also wants to study towards becoming an Air Hostess one day, which will increase her chances of travelling the world. She is currently a Gr 10 learner at Taxila Secondary School.

“With this title, I plan on hosting life changing programmes and activities that will encourage the youth in my community to strive to lead a positive life and refrain from getting involved and indulging in activities that will limit their chances of succeeding in life. I plan to start a teenage club through which the youth/teenagers will get together to share life experiences, problems as well as advise one another on various problems they encounter. One thing that I have learnt from this competition is that it is not always about where you come from but rather, where you are headed. How you get there will determine the type of person you will be when you reach your destination or reach a goal,” she said.
