Afro-pop’s Melo shines bright in the gospel industry

Boitumelo Tshediso Molotsi, better known as Melo, is an up-and-coming contemporary gospel music minister.

POLOKWANE – The 24-year-old recently visited the City of Stars to promote her latest album, Light.
With a slew of singles under her belt and an ever-increasing fan base, Melo is forging a unique and crossover path for herself in the gospel and Afro pop markets.

She delivers a vibrant, feel-good sound that will make you smile, bow your head and dance. Her songs have a beautiful and inspiring message and celebrate the life God has given to us all.

Melo has always loved singing and wants her music to not only speak to her passion for music but also her love for God, the journey she has taken towards her spiritual growth and how her life changed because of that.

She performs at various local and international platforms including comedy shows at the Barnyard Theatre, Loveworld Festival of Music and Art at Nasrec, Gauteng Premier Excellence Awards, churches and schools. She has performed in South Africa and other countries such as Botswana and Nigeria.
