Well-known businessman, Simphiwe Mdlalose launched his sixth book at a function at a venue in the city recently and announced that his seventh book is already completed and is scheduled to be launched in November.
Mdlalose’s latest book is titled ‘Five To Thrive – Daily thoughts to transform your life’ and is dedicated to his wife, Clara and children Mbali, Mfundo, Mbasa, Wonga and Nkululeko. Previous books from the same author are Applying Your Faith, Books 1 and 2 and His Grace, Volumes 1, 2 and 3. Mdlalose also published Personal Brand Building, Media Training and Inspirational Leadership manuals.
Five to Thrive consists of 33 chapters, each containing five tips which the author believes, will help the reader to grow and be a better person. “I have been charged and tasked to be a messenger of hope,” Mdlalose said in his address to guests and explained that the book came from notes of his contributions to a radio show called the Ashifa Breakfast Show.
Mdlalose thanked his mother, Gugu Mdlalose for raising him with Godly principles. “The man I am today came out of her hands and for that I will be forever grateful,” Mdlalose said.
Friends of the author, which included MEC for Social Development, Mapula Mokaba-Phukwana, insurance guru Connie Morgets and President of the Polokwane Chamber of Business, Ashley Rasebotsa, delivered short messages of support, where- after guests were allowed time to socialise and have books signed by the author.
