Ever wondered how hair technicians slay hair edges to add that Xfactor detail to your hairstyles, be it a pony tail, a bun, straight back or up hair plaiting and even with short hair?

POLOKWANE – Well, wonder no more! Review spoke to 24-year-old self-taught hair technician and stylist Tebogo Manaka from Ga-Thoka, Unit D, just outside of Polokwane, to find out how one can achieve the effortless yet classy sassy edges to complete their hairdos. “I learned how to play around with hair from a very young age, as early as primary school and throughout high school and tertiary and I am now doing it for a living. I get to experiment with different types of coarse hair and from last year I have been getting a lot questions with regards to how one can properly lay the edges of the hair in a neat and classy manner, so I did some research and found some easy steps to follow to achieve the perfect edges without looking hideous,” she explained.
