The Democratic Alliance (DA) in Limpopo’s campaign to collect and deliver thousands of litres of water for residents of the Mother City is making progress and schools and the business community have been roped in to be part of the initiative.
DA Councillor, Mariëtte Pretorius is the coordinator of the project and appeals to residents and businesspeople of the city to contribute to the project by donating five and ten litre bottles of water.
“Water can be delivered at the DA offices at 79 Hans van Rensburg Street from 08:00 to 17:00 on weekdays or at the parking area of the new Peter Mokaba Stadium on 16 February before 12:00 from where the water will be transported to Cape Town by Gift of the Givers, our partner in the project,” Pretorius says.
Pretorius or Larissa Venter may be contacted on 082 200 5227 or 082 591 7532 respectively, for further information.
