When you want to experience the joy of life’s adventures in a bigger, bolder crossover that has everything you need to go out there, the new Nissan X-trail’s muscular styling, solid capabilities and next-level technologies will keep you in control and give you all the space, comfort and flexibility you need to enjoy your action packed trips.
The exterior has a bold attitude born of muscle and steel while the V-motion grille creates and athletic and assertive impression. The sculpted body design and impressive profile contribute to aerodynamic efficiency and 19 inch alloy wheels ensure stability and traction on any road surface.
There is also a Power Panoramic Sunroof which opens right up to the rear seats so that everyone on board can enjoy the breathtaking views.
The interior of the Nissan X-trail is designed for both comfort and exploring. The D-shaped steering wheel not only contributes to a sporty look but also makes entering and exiting the vehicle easier. Sleek and modern with a large colour display, the centre console puts everything you need close at hand and the double-stitched leather boot surrounding the newly designed shift knob and gloss black trim with metallic accents add a touch of premium style.
Nissan intelligent mobility technologies create a whole new level of confidence and transform the X-trail from just an ordinary car into a driving partner. It senses and it sees with warning systems designed to look out for the owner and those around him. It offers Intelligent Emergency Braking which constantly monitors the presence of objects in your way and will prevent you from bumping into anything hidden from the driver’s perspective. The Intelligent Lane Intervention system alerts the driver when drifting by giving audible and visible warnings while the Intelligent Auto Headlights system actives the beams when you need them and temporarily dip the lights for oncoming vehicles.
When looking for parking in the city the X-trail offers several systems to safely guide you in and out of tiny spaces. These systems include four cameras with a 360° view and monitor, blind spot intervention and rear cross traffic alert.
When it comes to driving the Nissan X-trail offers high performance through a downsized, higly responsive and fuel efficient engine. The Nissan X-trail has an option of three engines: the trusted 2,0 litre petrol, punchy 2,5 litre petrol and highly efficient 1,6 litre diesel. These engines offer power output between 96 kW and 126 kW and between 200 Nm and 320 Nm of torque respectively.
Models are also available in electronically controlled Continuously Variable Transmission (with eco-mode) or a six-speed manual transmission.
The Nissan X-trail’s intelligent 4×4 system can adapt to changing conditions 30 times faster than the blink of an eye. Whether its sand or gravel, rain-covered surfaces or a tight turn, the system will automatically send power to the wheels that need it most.
