Chief Executive Officer of Limpopo Tourism Agency (LTA), Nomasonto Ndlovu is welcoming all tourists and general people who will visit the province during the Festive Season.
She has urged all citizens and role players in the hospitality industry to warmly welcome everyone. “This is the time when families come together after a long period of separation to celebrate the season. It is also the moment during which all people across religious beliefs display a gesture of generosity by giving to loved ones and those in need. This is a very important time when people should embrace one another across their religious beliefs as people. We welcome everybody in our peaceful province and we are saying to them let them enjoy a pleasant Festive Season filled with joy.”
She listed some of the province’s major attractions as being the Big Five, adventure sport such as abseiling, bungee jumping, rock climbing, caving, horse riding or kloofing. “For those that enjoy more relaxed and conventional sports, the province offers some magnificent golf courses. I further urge people to take this time to use our various products in the province to relax with their loved ones. We guarantee you enjoyable and breathtaking tranquillity of nature’s fauna and flora.”
“Our province’s rich cultural and historical heritage has earned it the reputation of being a land of great mystery. Not only is it the home of the legendary Modjadji, The Rain Queen, but also to the remains of the lost kingdom of Mapungubwe,” added Ndlovu.
She also mentioned that while Christians across the globe will be celebrating Christmas, through which they will be renewing their relationship with God, the event also coincides squarely with the Islamic Halal Slaughter and Eid Al-Adha (the Feast of the Sacrifice) celebrated by Muslims around the world.
