Meet Brenda Sekgota, Energy FM's Subtle Invasion host.

POLOKWANE – Each week, BONUS gives its readers and the listeners of Energy FM the opportunity to get to know a little bit more about your favourite Energy FM personnel.

1. Who do you look up to? Who is that one person who gives you strength and inspiration to carry on. Michael from University of Limpopo.

“Interesting enough, I draw my strength and inspiration from my brother, Modibe Sekgota, who has always been my pillar of strength and my two-in-one, father and brother.

“He has taught me the beauty of never giving up and has always seen the best in me when nobody else did.”

2. How long have you been on radio and was it always your first love or passion? Lerato from Mankweng, Zone 1.

“I have been doing radio for eight months now, since I joined Energy FM. It has always been my first love and passion, but it took working in the magazine industry to discover exactly where my passion lies.”

3. What do you enjoy the most between going out for a turn up and staying home? Monica from Nobody.

“Monica, I am going to be honest, while I enjoy taking some time and staying indoors, I’m an individual who is very much in tune with her social life, therefore, I am one person who would never say NO to a turn up.”

4. Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years? Kwena Moloto,Westenburg.

“Kwena, the future is unpredictable but that shouldn’t be an excuse not to plan for it. I want to see myself as an entrepreneur, managing my business from home and raising my children.”

5. What do you look for in a partner when it comes to relationships and also, are you taken? Lesetja from Bendor, Welgelegen.

“Honesty, transparency, stability, perfect understanding of where his priorities lie, maturity and some ambition doesn’t hurt. I don’t date for looks or money, but for intelligence.”

6. Who is Brenda and what type of reading materials do you prefer and how can you encourage people to read. Justice Ngoepe from Moletjie Motinti.

“Simple, sexy and smart. She is a young lady, born and bred in Polokwane. Raised by a single parent and definitely one who makes a statement wherever she goes.

“I am not much of a reader but I love reading magazines, keeping up with the latest gossip and trends.”

7. What would you change in the police sector to reduce the killings of police officers? Justice Ngoepe from Moletjie Motinti.

“I would definitely re-educate people on the main responsibilities of police officers.”
