POLOKWANE – The two fell in love with comedy in their high school years and this love was intensified, when they realised their jokes actually made people laugh.
The entertainment company was established in September 2016 after the recording of their first ‘funny’ video which received positive feedback from the public.

“Our proudest moment as Kilo-Kat Entertainment, was when we won the Maphungubwe art festival competition and the DSTV Irock comedy auditions,” Katridge shared.
According to the duo, their material comes from the positive responses that they receive during live performances. They regard their comedy as being in a different category, as they are trying to use this to uplift other upcoming comedians who refrain from using material based on one’s culture or religious beliefs. They also aim to use their comedy to give back to the community.
The two are said to have gained a lot of knowledge from travelling with Mashabela Galane on his ‘Rocking Mother Tongue 2’ tour and by working with individuals such as Salesman and Rale.
“We performed on big stages with well-known comedians” he added.

With the experience obtained from their performances, they now plan on hosting a comedy competition in Mankweng to give young up and coming comedians an opportunity to showcase their talents. The winner of this competition will be mentored by the two and will also be featured on their shows.
