‘Dlala’ keeps Blazey Fresh on the airwaves

The music video for this single is set to be released this month.

POLOKWANE – Sello Moloto, better known as Blazey Fresh, has rapidly been making his mark in the music industry and already has his new single Dlala making waves.

“Dlala is a new sound called Skrapyard Sound. It is like no other in the hip hop scene because it’s a fusion of house music and kwaito. It gives the song local and international appeal which is also suitable for all ages,” he explained.

The song is currently playlisted on over 48 radio stations including Gagasi FM, Capricorn FM, YFM, Alex FM and Tshwane FM. His #DlalaActivationTour with live performances alongside the Faith Dance Crew, managed to keep this single in the right spot.

“I urge people to stay glued to their screens for what most people deemed impossible. We have put into the music video, originality of sound, picture quality and kasi flavour,” he added.

Blazey Fresh has also been nominated for a Limpopo Music Award.

In 2012, Blazey Fresh managed to impress the artist Speedy, who then offered to take him under his wing. He has had performances at the Booth Night Club in Sandton, Hydro on Boulevard, Diepkloof Square, Maroola Lounge, House 22, the Peter Mokaba Stadium, Sun Meropa Casino as well as various universities. He has also shared the stage with some of the country’s most esteemed artists including the likes of Black Coffee, Kwesta, Mafikizolo and Oskido.

Moloto, who is also the co-founder and ambassador of TALK (Together Applying Liberating Knowledge), an NPO initiative established to fight the concurrent socio-economic issues through art and literacy, aims to find a solution to these issues by sharing and spreading information on the importance of knowledge to the youth.
