Sammy Machaka releases 4th album
Sammy's (41) latest album is titled A ya Bitswa
POLOKWANE – Local gospel musician, Machaka joined the music industry in 1990 and released his first album, Mangeloi, in 2007, followed by Meoya ya Batho in 2010.
He released his third album, Letsatsi le Etla, in 2011 and two singles, Dinonyana and Bashimanyan.
The six-track A ya Bitswa features songs such as Mahlomoleng, Balehlogonolo and He is my Shepherd among others sure to be a big hit with fans of gospel music.
“So far A ya Bitswa is selling like hot cakes.
“I was inspired by David Moraba to begin singing and I first started out with a tap and clap choir called Bana ba Messiah.
“All my songs are quoted from the Bible and I believe it gospel music can help many people turn to Christianity as this country of ours is in dire need of prayers,” said Machaka.
He thanked his fans who are always there for him.
“The support you give me is precious and I greatly appreciate your continued support.
“I look forward to a long and successful journey in Christ with you all by my side.”
