Limpopo’s first Deep House Festival, 29 September

Being the first of its kind and magnitude in the province, The Sekhukhune Deep House Festival is set to change the nightlife in Limpopo as we know it for good.

LIMPOPO – A concept birthed and spearheaded by two locals from Ga-Nkwana, Confidence Ratau and Victor Thobejane, the SDHF will be a showcase of talented DJs and entrepreneurs who hail from the district and are contributing towards its development in various ways through small businesses and the arts.

The festival is a non-stop all-weekender set to take off on 29 September this year until 01 October, with 45 DJs already booked for the final line-up, some of whom are greats within the South African Deep House fraternity, namely: Kat La Kat, Will Masemola, Paledi and one of the organisers herself, Confidence Ratau, who is popularly known by her stage name, Lee Da Cocktail. She will be one of three female DJs that will play at the event.

The international headliner, Germany-based Rene ‘Jazzman’ Wolski, and a Deep House DJ that comes highly recommended and is believed to leave tongues wagging after all his sets, will perform on Saturday, 30 September, with other Sekhukhune DJs that have pulled their own weight in the industry over the years.

Invitations are also extended for those who are interested in putting up stalls for selling different products ranging from food, beverages and apparel among others. Tickets can be bought at computicket.

For enquiries, contact Confidence Ratau at 081 878 7064 or Victor Thobejane at 079 246 0062.
