Songstress, Tricia, set to make waves in the music industry

The 27-year-old from Polokwane, said that she discovered her rare talent for singing in primary school and has been pursuing a career in the music industry ever since.

POLOKWANE – With a passion for everything artistic, Tricia Trish-Lady Mamaregane, from Polokwane says that as members of the community we need to work together to ensure that our societies function healthily and benefit everyone.

Mamaregane is a singer, promoter and a writer and is currently working with L.A Muzo Studios (producers), whom are based in the city of Polokwane, to finalise her album which will be released next year.

“I have worked with Limpopo Youth Orchestra for the Tshedi Moholo Launch as a backing Vocalist and I also was part of Clash Of The Choirs season 2 and have also worked with a number of artist and bands such as the likes Extreme Worship and Gracist Band at Light Of The Nations. Working with such renowned individuals in the music industry, both locally and internally has afforded me an opportunity to grow and improve on my singing abilities and work on my creative juices so that I can become better at what I do, which is being a musician,” she explained.

Part of the Body album was birthed beginning of 2017 and has recorded over 15 songs since. It came from the scripture found in 1Corinthians 12:12-20 which translates to, ”For a body to be fully functional it needs all the members/parts to be active and play their roles”.

The launch of her single titled, “Part of the body- love letter” is scheduled to take place onFriday, 18 August 2017, at no. 102 Landdross Mare Street in Polokwane at 18:00 pm.
